Our story…

Newport Film Lab is an independant, home-grown photographic service in Newport, South Wales.

Founded by Ethan Fowler in 2024, who is not only a lover of all things analogue, but has a passion for the darkroom and photography.

We wanted to create a unique and niche service for photographers of all levels, we are also proud to be connected to such amazing like-minded photographic businesses in our surrounding area, making Newport a creative hub that it was once famouse for!

Providing services such as; 35mm and 120 film processing, scanning, and printing, which includes traditional black & white, and RA-4 colour prints.

We are also very proud to say that we have been noticed, and featured by the worlds most renown photographic company, Ilford, along with features in local newspapers such as The South Wales Argus.
