- What is Express Service?
Express Service suits people that require a same day turnaround (depending on when the film has been dropped off).
- How can I drop film off to you for processing?
We have a letterbox drop off point outside the premises where you can just pop your orders in there (remember to attach your order number!).
- How long do you keep hold of film for?
We guarantee to hold film for 1 month, after 3 weeks, we will get in touch with you but if the film hasn’t been collected within a month of processing, then it will be disposed of.
- I think my film is stuck or I can’t get it out of the camera, can you help?
No guarantees but we will certainly do our best! Please leave the film in the cameras and don’t try to remove it yourself as we will remove it in complete darkness to attempt to save the film.
- I can’t see an option for a service I require, can you still help?
Yes! Please drop us a line using our contact form. We have a wealth of knowledge in the industry and can assist with all jobs, big or small.
- Do you have a shop that customers can visit?
Unfortunately not, we kindly request that you do not turn up unannounced as we trade from our house. If you want to get in touch using our contact form, please do, and let us know if you want to meet to drop film off or purchase film from us. Therefore we can make sure we are there to greet you!
- How do you process black and white film?
We use mostly Paterson tanks, ranging from all different sizes. Ilfosol 3 is our go-to developing chemistry as we have found this retains the most amount of detail within the negative to give you the best scans possible.
All black and white film is done separately and is not cross processed with other variants of film like other labs do to save costs.
- How do you process colour film?
Using the similar equipment as the black and white process, however we use Bellini Foto chemistry for developing by hand. Although sometimes it is proved difficult to obtain C-41 chemistry in a timely manner, so we do occasionally offload work to a sister lab which has a machine processor to avoid delays.
- What happens if my film is blank?
Due to costs and the time and chemistry used to develop your film, if its blank then we do not offer refunds on this.
However, if you placed an order for developing and scanning, then we will refund you for the scanning.
